To ensure this, we will keep all information secure and confidential, except in exceptional cases when disclosure is necessary, such as:

1. When it is ordered by a court of law:

2. When failure to disclose the information could pose a threat to your or another person’s safety:

3. When you have provided prior consent to; a. Share a written report with another profession or organisation, such as a Physician or a Lawyer; or b. Discuss the information with another individual, such as a parent, employer or supervisor.

4. When you would reasonably anticipate that your personal information would be disclosed to another professional or agency (such as your GP) for a purpose directly related to the primary reason for collecting your personal information; or

5. When disclosure is mandated or authorised by law.

Provision of a Telehealth Service

When the Counselling service is delivered via video conferencing, there will be the option of telephone delivery in the event of internet connectivity challenges. It is your responsibility to cover the costs associated with obtaining the necessary technology to access telehealth services. Morrow Endeavour will be responsible for the cost of the call to you and the expenses related to the platform utilised for telehealth services.

To participate in telehealth consultations, you must have access to a quiet, private area and an appropriate device, such as a smartphone, laptop, computer, or iPad, equipped with a camera, microphone, and speakers, as well as a reliable broadband internet connection.

Please note that the privacy of internet-based communication is subject to potential vulnerabilities and the security of the technology used. To ensure the protection of your personal information, this practice utilises the secure and compliant platform, Zoom, which meets the Australian standards for online security and encryption.

Limitations of Telehealth

Telehealth consultations may be hindered by limitations such as an unreliable network connection, which can impact the quality of the counselling session. It is also possible that some services may not be suitable or effectively delivered through telehealth. Your Counsellor will assess the suitability of continuing telehealth sessions and discuss it with you.
